Podcast Series Where the Internet Lives, Named Winner, Technology Podcast, 2022, and People’s Voice Winner in the 26th Annual Webby Awards

Boston, MA — April 28, 2022 – Post Script Media, Inc., announced today that its production for Google, Inc., Where the Internet Lives, Season 2, has been named Winner, Technology Podcast, and People’s Voice Winner for Technology Podcasts in the 26th Annual Webby Awards Internet Celebration. Regarded as the “Internet’s highest honor” by The New York Times, The Webby Awards, presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS), is the leading international awards organization honoring excellence on the Internet. IADAS, which nominates and selects The Webby Award Winners, is comprised of Internet industry experts including Arlan Hamilton, Founder and Managing Partner, Backstage Capital; Ziwe Fumudoh, Comedian & Writer; Quinta Brunson, Writer, Director and Actor; Felecia Hatcher, CEO, Black Ambition, Sridhar Ramaswamy; Co-Founder & CEO, Neeva; David Droga; Founder and Chairman, Droga5, R/GA; Kerstin Emhoff, Co-Founder & CEO, PRETTYBIRD; Dan Pfeiffer, Co-Host, Pod Save America and Werner Vogels, VP & CTO Amazon.

Where the Internet Lives, Season 2, took a career-centered approach to data centers. It showcased the individual people who keep the internet running, inside and outside data centers.

It featured host Stephanie Wong, who profiled 10 Google employees who transformed their careers, overcame obstacles, and found inspiration working in the places where the internet lives. The season brought together a highly diverse group of guests across job function, personal background, race, gender, and geography.

This year’s Webby Special Achievement honorees include: Megan Thee Stallion (Webby Artist of the Year), Anil Dash and Kevin McCoy (Webby Lifetime Achievement), Takashi Murakami (Webby Special Achievement), Drew Barrymore (Webby Special Achievement), Adam Scott (Webby Best Actor), and #saygay (Webby Social Movement of the Year).
